Our philosophy & founder

Care that starts with really listening

“I opened Blossom Wellness Clinic with one belief: that caring for your body and your mind should never be separate. As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Registered Massage Therapist, I’ve seen how much changes when people finally feel heard and supported as a whole person.

Our team brings together psychotherapy, massage, physiotherapy, acupuncture and naturopathic medicine — so whatever you’re carrying, there’s a place for you here.”

Five practitioners, five professions

Each practitioner below is booked directly, and each keeps their own schedule. If more than one of them could help, that is a conversation worth having before you book rather than a decision you have to get right on your own.

Counselling

Asmi Prem Jhaveri

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Being a teenager right now is its own full-time job — the pressure to have it all figured out, the comparison that never clocks out, the 2am spirals nobody sees.

I’m Asmi, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), and much of my work is with teens and young adults navigating exactly that: anxiety, low mood, shaky self-worth, and life transitions that arrive faster than anyone’s ready for. I also work with women moving through their own turning points — new chapters, old patterns, and the kind of stress that gets quietly handed down through families.

My style is direct but warm. I’ll tell you what I notice, and I’ll probably reach for a metaphor to make it land — the right one can do what a textbook can’t. The work is attachment-based and trauma-informed, drawing on emotionally focused therapy (EFIT), CBT, and parts work, with real attention to what your nervous system is doing underneath it all.

Culture and family context belong in the room — and sometimes so does another language. Sessions are available in English, Hindi, Gujarati and Urdu, and I understand Punjabi and Telugu.

If you’re a parent booking for your teen: getting them here is the hard part, and making it feel safe is mine.

Sessions are available in English, Hindi, Gujarati and Urdu, and Asmi understands Punjabi and Telugu.

  • Receipts provided so you can claim through your own plan
  • Registered Massage Therapists in Ontario are required to collect tax on each treatment, so these prices do not include tax.
  • We ask for 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Appointments missed or cancelled within 24 hours are charged in full.
Questions

Questions about booking with us

Do you offer direct billing?
The clinic does not provide direct billing. We provide receipts you can submit to your insurer. Many extended-health plans include the care we provide, but coverage varies a great deal between plans, so please confirm the details with your own plan before booking.
What happens at my first visit?
Your first visit starts with a conversation about your history and what brought you in, followed by an assessment. Treatment only goes ahead once you understand what is proposed and agree to it. You can ask questions or stop at any point.
What if I’m not sure which practitioner to book with?
Tell us what you are dealing with through the inquiry form and we will point you to the right practitioner. If you are considering counselling, a free 15-minute consultation is listed on our booking page with Kamalpreet Kandhola and Asmi Prem Jhaveri.
Can I be seen in a language other than English?
Asmi Prem Jhaveri offers counselling sessions in English, Hindi, Gujarati and Urdu, and understands Punjabi and Telugu. If you need another language, please send us an inquiry before booking so we can confirm.
